PMU Removal in Madison & Huntsville, AL
Unwanted Brow Pigment?
Start With a Clear Plan.
Lightening or removing older permanent makeup can be the first step toward brows you feel more comfortable with.
Christy Thompson offers Botched Ink® saline pigment removal at EyelashYou in Madison, Alabama. If your microblading or brow tattoo no longer suits you, a consultation can help establish whether lightening, removal, or another approach is appropriate.
Discuss concerns about unwanted color, a shape you no longer like, or pigment that needs assessment before future brow work. Clients visit from Huntsville, Athens, Decatur, and surrounding North Alabama communities.
The System We Use
Botched Ink® Pigment Removal
A professional saline removal system used to lighten unwanted cosmetic tattoo pigment. Christy is a trained Botched Ink® technician.
A Non-Laser Approach
What Is Saline PMU Removal?
Saline removal is a professional treatment intended to lift unwanted tattoo pigment as the treated skin heals. At EyelashYou, the system used is Botched Ink®, with suitability assessed before treatment.
Unwanted Brow Color
Older brow pigment may no longer match the appearance you want. A review of the existing color helps guide the next step.
Shape & Placement Concerns
Discuss areas of a brow tattoo you would like assessed, rather than assuming the entire brow needs removal.
Planning Future Brow Work
Sometimes the goal is to lighten existing pigment enough to reassess future brow options, rather than pursue complete removal.
Different Goals, Different Plans
Lightening, Removal & Color Correction
These terms are related, but they do not describe the same treatment goal.
Reducing Existing Pigment
Lightening or Removal
Saline removal aims to reduce unwanted pigment. Your goal may be partial lightening or a longer removal plan; neither the final result nor the number of sessions can be guaranteed.
Assessing an Unwanted Tone
PMU Color Correction
Color correction uses additional pigment to address an unwanted tone where suitable. It is not automatically appropriate for heavily saturated or poorly placed previous work.
Christy will review your existing brows before recommending removal, correction, or a different next step. Adding more pigment is not the right answer for every older brow tattoo.
What to Expect
A Consultation-Based Removal Process
Step 01
Review the Existing Work
Discuss when your brows were treated, any previous touch-ups or removal, and the change you want to make.
Step 02
Agree on the Goal
Christy explains whether lightening or removal is an appropriate starting point and discusses realistic expectations.
Step 03
Treatment & Aftercare
If you proceed, treatment is followed by instructions specific to Botched Ink® and your appointment.
Step 04
Reassess After Healing
Allow the area to heal before reviewing pigment changes and deciding whether further treatment is appropriate.
Realistic Expectations
Removal Is a Process,
Not a Promised Number of Visits.
Your existing pigment, treatment history, and individual skin response affect the plan. Multiple sessions may be needed, and complete removal is not always achievable.
Progress should be reviewed after healing rather than judged only from the appearance immediately after treatment. Christy can discuss the likely commitment, pricing, and reassessment process during consultation.

Fresh Brow PMU Concerns
Recently Had a Brow Treatment You Regret?
Contact EyelashYou promptly and state when the original procedure was performed. Botched Ink® describes an early removal window within 48 hours, before scabbing forms; suitability and appointment availability must be confirmed.
Use the contact page to explain the timing and your concerns. Do not wait for a routine future appointment if the work is fresh. Do not attempt home removal.
Treatment Areas Matter
A Brow-Focused Removal Consultation
This page focuses on microblading and eyebrow permanent makeup. Do not assume that a removal method used on brows is suitable for eyeliner, lip tissue, or every other tattooed area.
Botched Ink® does not permit use near the eyes. If your concern involves eyeliner or another treatment area, contact Christy to discuss an appropriate next step rather than booking brow removal.
Healing & Follow-Up
Follow Your Treatment-Specific Instructions
Removal involves a healing period. Christy will explain aftercare, what to expect, and when the area can be reassessed.
Follow the instructions supplied for your Botched Ink® treatment rather than generic online advice for another removal product. Contact your provider if you are concerned about healing.
PMU Removal FAQs
Questions Before Booking
What removal system does EyelashYou use?
EyelashYou uses Botched Ink® saline pigment removal. Christy Thompson is a trained Botched Ink® technician.
Is saline PMU removal the same as laser removal?
No. Saline removal and laser removal are different methods. EyelashYou offers the Botched Ink® saline approach described on this page.
Can you lighten old microblading or brow tattoos?
Older brow pigment can be assessed for saline lightening or removal. Suitability depends on the existing work, treatment history, and the change you want to make.
How many removal sessions will I need?
The number varies. Multiple sessions may be needed, and complete removal cannot be guaranteed. Christy will discuss your goals and reassess progress after healing.
Do I need full removal before getting new brows?
Not always. Partial lightening may be enough to reassess future brow options in some cases. Previous pigment must be reviewed before a new treatment is planned.

Contact Christy promptly and state when the procedure was performed. Botched Ink® describes an early removal window within 48 hours, before scabbing forms. Suitability and appointment availability must be confirmed.
Can Botched Ink® be used to remove eyeliner?
