What is Microblading?
Microblading is a revolutionary beauty procedure that enhances or corrects natural brows. It is a form of semi-permanent make-up that involves using a manual pen with very fine needles to implant pigment into the superficial layers of the skin.

Who needs microblading?
Anyone who wants to enhance or reconstruct their brows should consider microblading. People who plucked out their brows in the 90s until they never returned, those born with sparse eyebrows, people who have lost their brows through chemo, trichotillomania, alopecia, or simply those looking for a bolder shape. Anyone who wants to spend less time in the mirror applying make up can benefit from eyebrow microblading.

How old do I have to be to get the microblading procedure?
You must be 18 years or older to receive microblading at EyelashYou in Madison, Alabama.

Does eyebrow microblading hurt?
The pain level for the procedure is considered mild to none. Prior to the procedure, a topical anesthetic will be applied to numb the area, and also reapplied during the procedure.

How long do the results last?
Microblading results generally last between 6 months to 2 years. However, this varies greatly from person to person due to genetics, lifestyle and willingness to commit to the procedure's process and maintenance. Touch-ups are recommended annually to keep your eyebrows as you desire them.

How long is the procedure?
The initial microblading visit is 2 hours. Your first visit involves consultation, shaping of the eyebrows, and careful implantation of the pigment with topical anesthetic.

What is the recovery time?
There is no recovery time and you can go about your day as usual right after the procedure. As long as aftercare instructions are diligently followed, you should have a well healed result. Healing of the skin takes a full 30 days, however, aftercare instructions are followed for 14 days post procedure.

How will I look immediately after?
Your brows will appear darker and more intense than expected for the first week or so. This will gradually lighten during the complete healing process. Redness and swelling is minimal. You can anticipate your brows being bolder than normal the first few days after your procedure.

How do you choose a color?
We choose a color together by applying small amounts of different colored pigments to the skin near your brows and selecting the best match for your skin tone, features and personal preference. As a general rule, we closely match the color of your brow hair rather than your current hair color for the most natural results.

What is your booking policy?
All appointments, a retainer deposit fee is required. The retainer deposit fee certifies your commitment to your appointment that will be applied toward your total cost due at the time of service. To reschedule an appointment, a 48 hour notice is required. Any persons later than 15 minutes and/or if you choose to cancel your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your retainer deposit fee. Please be considerate of other clients' time. Retainer deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The microblading deposit fee is currently $150 due at the time of booking. No-shows on touch-ups with less than 48 hour cancellation/reschedule notice is subject to $100 fee.
