Nano Brows Frequently Asked Questions
I have a previous tattoo / microblading, can you tattoo over or fix them? Will it be a touchup?A consultation is imperative before booking a brow service appointment online. The tattoo must be VERY faded in order to work over or corrected. At least 60-70% faded. Working over other artists' work is often more work than working on a blank canvas and for that reason we DO NOT touchup other artist’s work for touchup pricing. **Extra fees will apply if color correction is needed.
What pigments do you use?
We use Permablend pigments. The ingredients are a combination of powdered pigments, glycerin, witch hazel, isopropyl alcohol, aqua, rosin, and DMDM hydantoin. Permablend pigments are gamma-ray sterilized, vegan and cruelty-free.
How often do I need touchups?
We recommend a conservative approach to shaping and coloring your eyebrows during your first NanoBrow appointment. This approach ensures that the final result is natural-looking and complements your unique features.
After your first appointment, you'll be scheduled for a follow-up appointment in 5 weeks. This follow-up appointment is to determine if a touchup is needed, to perfect any areas in the brow and/or to adjust shape, saturation, color.
To maintain the shape and color of your tattooed eyebrows, we recommend 18-24month touch-ups. The lifespan of a NanoBrow tattoo is typically around one year, while Combo Brows can last up to two years. However, the longevity of the tattoo can depend on various factors such as skin type, age, and lifestyle. For example, oily skin with larger pores may result in the tattoo lasting around one year, while dry skin with little to no pores may result in the tattoo lasting up to two years.
